The Exhibition Catalogue Awards for 1993
Abstract
Fifty-two catalogs were submitted for the 1993 Katharine Kyes Leab and Daniel J. Leab American Book Prices Current Exhibition Catalogue Awards. The overall high quality of the field is attested by the selection of four catalogs to receive Honorable Mention in addition to the three winning catalogs. A special award of merit was also given to the University of Chicago for its intelligently conceived and handsomely designed series of catalogs celebrating the history of the university.
Catalogs published between September 1, 1991, and August 31, 1992, were eligible, and naturally the Columbus Quincentenary was the focus of major exhibitions and . . .
