Abstract

This issue of RBML marks the beginning of Volume Two. During the last year and a half RBML has developed from an idea and numerous discussions to actuality. In the first two issues we have had articles on the status quo of special collections libraries, grant writing, the promotion and development of a special collections library, the collecting of manuscripts, the cataloguing of manuscripts on a national database, and reflections and concerns of a rare book librarian about his profession. In both issues we have also included a good number of book reviews and notices and, in the last issue, . . .
