Editor’s Note
Abstract
With the present issue, I begin a three-year term as editor of Rare Books and Manuscripts Librarianship. The journal’s readership, and, indeed, the entire rare books and manuscripts audience, owe a great debt of gratitude to Alice Schreyer for her judicious, sensible, circumspect editorship over the last half decade. Alice’s tireless work and clear-headed editing have kept the journal a paragon of excellence, and have benefitted many people beyond the journal’s immediate readers.
