Editor’s Note



In the midst of difficult economic times, it is a pleasure to report two promising developments affecting RBML. A cash prize has been established by ACRL to recognize an outstanding article published in RBML; and, following a period of steadily declining advertising revenues, this issue of the journal contains over 15 full pages of advertisements.

For RBML, for all journals that depend on advertising revenue, the economy has taken a serious toll, as advertisers have been forced to make hard choices in allocating severely limited advertising budgets. RBML is not an ACRL membership journal, and combined revenues received from advertising . . .
